If you are arriving at O’Hare or Midway airport
O’Hare Airport (ORD) and Midway Airport (MDW) connect Chicago with most cities. Taxi cab fare from O’Hare to downtown Chicago is approximately $50, and the fare from Midway to downtown Chicago is approximately $35.
Buses and trains are operated by the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA). The CTA Blue Line train services O’Hare and the CTA Orange Line train services Midway. For bus service to the classroom, take the CTA No. 1 Indiana/Hyde Park or the CTA No. 4 Cottage Grove, NOT the No. 4 Express. Buses stop in front of our parking lot driveway on Michigan Avenue. The fare is $2.25 each way. To plan a CTA trip, visit www.transitchicago.com.
